This policy explains how Kaarig ("Kaarig", "we") collects and uses your information when you visit this website, chat with us on WhatsApp or buy from us.
What we collect
- Details you give us: name, email, phone number, delivery address, GSTIN and order notes.
- Payment details are entered directly with our payment partner, Cashfree. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working.
- Visit statistics from Google Analytics, which uses cookies to count visits, see which pages are viewed and how visitors found us. It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
How we use it
- To process, deliver and support your order.
- To reply to enquiries and corporate quote requests.
- To send order updates. We will only send marketing messages if you agree to receive them.
Who we share it with
Only with partners needed to complete your order: Cashfree (payments), our courier partners (delivery), our hosting provider, our email provider (order emails and login codes) and Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform (when you message us on WhatsApp). We do not sell your data.
Your account
What we store. Your name, email address and mobile number; your password, stored only in a scrambled form that can't be read back; the delivery addresses you save; your orders; your saved cart and wishlist; and the devices you are logged in on. If you shop with us on WhatsApp, we also keep your WhatsApp number and our conversation, so we can pick up where we left off.
Why. To let you log in, check out quickly with your saved details, follow and manage your orders (cancellations, returns and refunds), and keep your cart and wishlist across devices. Login codes sent by email, SMS or WhatsApp confirm it's really you.
How long we keep it. Your account details are kept while your account is open. When you delete it, your profile, saved addresses, cart, wishlist and logins are removed straight away. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires (currently at least six years), but are no longer linked to your account.
Download or delete your data. You can download a copy of your account data, or delete your account, at any time from My account → Profile. Deleting needs a confirmation code, so no one else can do it for you.
