Lab-grown diamonds
What is a lab-grown diamond?
A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond made in a laboratory instead of being mined. It is pure carbon with the same crystal structure, hardness and sparkle as a mined diamond; only its origin is different.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically and optically the same as mined diamonds. They are not imitations like cubic zirconia or moissanite, and a standard diamond tester identifies them as diamond.
Can you tell a lab-grown diamond apart from a mined one?
Not by eye, and not with a regular jeweller's loupe. Telling them apart needs specialised laboratory equipment, which is why every Kaarig piece comes with a diamond certificate.
Will a lab-grown diamond lose its sparkle or change colour?
No. A lab-grown diamond is as hard and durable as a mined diamond (10 on the Mohs scale) and keeps its brilliance and colour for life. Like any diamond, it sparkles best when kept clean.
Why choose lab-grown over mined diamonds?
You get the same diamond for considerably less, with a known origin and no mining. That lets you choose a bigger or better stone for the same budget.
Gold and certificates
Why is Kaarig jewellery made in 9K gold?
9K gold is 37.5% pure gold alloyed with stronger metals, which makes it durable for everyday wear, holds diamonds securely and keeps fine jewellery affordable.
Can I get a piece in 14K or 18K gold?
Yes, on request. Customisation is also available in 14K and 18K gold, but weight may vary according to the purity of gold. Ask us on WhatsApp or through the contact page and we will send a quote.
Which colours of gold are available?
Most designs can be made in yellow, rose or white gold. Mention the colour you would like when you order or ask for a quote.
Does every piece come with a certificate?
Yes. Every piece comes with a diamond certificate and a gold certificate.
Ordering and delivery
How do I find my ring size?
Measure the inside of a ring that fits you well, or the circumference of your finger, in millimetres, and send it to us; we will match it to the right Indian ring size. Our ring size guide explains how.
Are your prices inclusive of GST?
Yes. All prices shown on the website include GST.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed securely by Cashfree. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
Some pieces say "Price on request". How do I buy them?
Add them to your cart and send it as a quote request, or message us on WhatsApp. We reply with the price and delivery time.
Do you deliver across India?
Yes. We deliver across India through insured, tracked courier services, and every order arrives in gift-ready packaging.
Can I return a piece?
Unworn pieces in their original packaging, with the certificate and invoice, can be returned within the return window. Customised, engraved and corporate orders cannot be returned.
